Software for Hyperbolic Geometry

NonEuclid is a program that uses the Poincaré model to illustrate theorems in hyperbolic geometry. The program was developed at Rice University and is freeware. You can visit the NonEuclid home page for more information.

Requires a Java enabled browser such as Netscape Communicator 4.6 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0.

For those of you with Geometer's Sketchpad, there are script tools written by Scott Steketee to do non-euclidean geometry constructions using the Poincaré model with Geometer's Sketchpad. These can be found at the Key Curriculum Press Geometer's Sketchpad site or below for your convenience.
